I agree with you guys on the most part. As for the world edit topic, I agree with bird that WE is a very usefull tool and if the commands are considered thoroughly this should be no problem for grief or server lag. What I deem the best world situation is a three world system, as bird suggested, however with some small changes.
 
the first world, a plot creative world (functions as birds' trial world) however in this world everyone can build and with a special command (f.i. /plot trial) you can ask a judge to look at your plot. This will allow for people to just build in a plotworld and for people to gain their "promotion". More plots can be bought here with tokens. world 2: a normal (survival) world with creative for people, people allowed on this will have more advanced  WE (also for plot worlds) including a higher block limit and some more complex commands (such as brushes, perhaps even voxel) world 3: the trophy/gallery world as stated before

Congratz to the other winners! Competition was fierce. Just a small thing on my build, what you can't see in the pictures is that the floor is ice and "reflects" the whole build above.

Hey, guys! I was wondering, since it's getting close to that time of year, if we could do a holiday build competition? I think doing it would be a ton of fun like the super hero/villain build. Like, it'd be a holiday theme, such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. Would that be possible?

A real villain does not take a break from evil. A real villain isn't exhausted, he makes the hero exhausted using his henchman. A real villain has a lair to conduct his business in, not to rest! Let that be clear to you all.

A long long time ago, on a server not unlike this one there was a man. A powerfull man, for this man had the ability to create and destroy. Under the watchfull eye of the goddes of that realm the man created beautifull lakes and wonderfull mountains. He made caves unlike no other, filled with amazing creatures and splendid plants. The man, loving what he did spend most of his time trying to recreate the beauty he once saw in the eyes of the goddes. However how many lakes and mountains, villages and castles the man made, none could rival the beauty of the goddes. This slowly drove the man insane and eventually he cursed the goddes and her planet and started to use his powers to destroy the world around him. He created ravines and deserts where once stood beutifull landscapes. He ruined the whole world and set fire to the skies. Fearing the man could be able to stand up to her and defeat her, the goddes did not intervene. Only when the man had just destroyed his first house, his starting point, his family home, did the the finally come to senses. He then realized what he had done, what ruin he had brought the world. What horror he had become. Fearing he would ever return in such a state he asked the goddes for forgiveness and asked her a single favour. The favour was that she would ban him from her realm and that he would never have such powers again. That is the story of how this man, who once was the builder of worlds, the creator of wonders, the bringer of hope, came to be banned from the realm of the goddes.
