I like your idea @pokeball92870.  I will need to have Nick's help to make good decisions though.  I often equate quantity with quality in my head and that's often the wrong way to do it.

Ugh, nothing for survival?

I can only do so much at one time.  Survival still gets new things.  I added more stuff to the black market there just this weekend.  I just didn't make a video about it.  We recently added the challenges to Survival too.

Let me know what you want in Survival.  I have seen the request for capture-able mobs, but what else?

I love the mob arena thing.. But how did you get certain mobs to spawn in certain places? U A WIZARD BRUH??

I'm a wizard, yes.  

We used spawners to get the mobs to spawn.  Some are hidden underground, but some won't spawn unless they are above ground.

We are testing the fit of a PvP and Mob arena on the Skyblock server.

This means that we put them up and we're gonna keep them up unless there are a lot of issues.

For now, they are a lot of fun. Just watch out for coolpig5342 Sr Mod in the PvP arena. He will snipe you. Also watch out for the falling guardians in the Mob arena. They will snipe coolpig5342 Sr Mod, and possibly you too.

I propose the idea of doing WEEKLY PICK-AXIS TOP TENS as a cool idea to show off the many talented builders in the server and to show off our server as well! Examples include, but not limited to: Top Ten Creative Builds, Top Ten Pick-Axis Skyblock Worlds, Top Ten Redstone Contraptions, Top Ten Survival Worlds, etc. I think this would be a very cool idea

Mojang recently allowed us to change our Minecraft names. We've done some work on the backend to make sure this is a fluid process...however, if you change your name, please be aware of the following risks:

• Your SkyBlock island will no longer recognize you. You will lose access to all chests, items, and even going to it. There is nothing we can currently do about this. We are working on a solution, but it is unlikely to be retroactive.
• Other servers may have some plugin or feature that won't remember you, too. We have been doing some testing, but can't guarantee that something weird won't happen.

It's Thursday! That means it's time for the next PickAxis Weekly Update. BTW, these updates will be every other week unless there is enough information to add a couple more into the month.

• Changed Voting Sites - You will see that we switched PMC to another voting site because PMC wasn't registering each time someone voted and correctly reporting it back to us. In order to get you all the tokens you deserve, we switched to Mineservers.net. (Also, congrats to Malsamatic for winning Top Voter for January!)
• 1.8 Updates - Creative now joins Survival and Skyblock as a fully-updated 1.8 server. Enjoy the fun, new blocks!
• New Token Shop Kits (Skyblock) - On Skyblock there are 2 new 1.8 kits in /shop. Use your tokens to purchase these for 50 tokens each. One kit is the 1.8 Ground Pack & the other is the 1.8 Sea Pack. Have ideas for other Token Kits? Let us know in the comments below.
• PickAxis Coins & Ranks - They are here! Check out the front page announcements or the Shop page for complete details.
• Name Changes - Mojang has officially allowed us to change our Minecraft names. While doing so is compliant with most of our servers and plugins, be warned that it will not keep your Skyblock island. We are not yet sure of any other bugs it may cause, but do any updating with caution.

• Flash Build Contest - We will have our first Flash Build Contest starting this weekend. This means it will be up for only one week. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement.
• TF2 Event - This weekend we hope to have our first TF2 event. Join the PickAxis Steam group to be alerted to its start time. See ya there!
