Player of the Month? Take a user on the server who's made them self known in the community and has helped others exceptionally well. Honor that player for their work in promoting the server's community and give them some reward (IGN items/free donor rank) to encourage others to do the same. A player CAN be chosen again if others fail to show up in the community. Keep doing this until you cannot do it anymore Upload it on the 1st of every month. You can possibly reward players for the following criteria: - Community Participation (build contests, events, and tournaments) - Forum / Server Activeness (how active a player/user is on the forums and/or in a server of choice) - Forum / Server Helpfulness (how helpful a player/user is on the forums and/or in a server of choice) - Creativity / Server Promotion (the creativity of a distinguished player in building on the server or creating advertisements/GFX for PA - this encourages art too!) - Voting (top voters of the month!) - Staff (staff promotions, etc.) - Teacher's Pet (how helpful a player/user is to the owners and/or staff members - this can be talked about within the conversations of staff members) and finally: - Derp (who on the server is the friendliest and derpiest in that month) Once again, I think that this monthly occurrence encourages players to really show who they are on PickAxis, as well as creating a community that is active, friendly, and can help each other out while promoting the PickAxis brand. Some plugins use usernames, and not UUIDs, which determine who a player is in 1.8. Not all plugins use UUIDs yet, which stay the same despite username changing. Hence, not all plugins support different usernames. Changing the caps in your name shouldn't really affect anything, as most plugins just look for users who's letters and numbers match in their username. Be careful though, and do more research instead of solely relying on this. Yep. Skyblock no support name change

oooo a UHC that sounds like fun. Simple explanation: PvP gamemode where you don't regenerate health. Detailed explanation: UHC, which stands for Ultra Hardcore, is a PvP gamemode made up by Mindcrack. Basically, you are set in a world where you need to gather resources and eliminate all other players until you are the last one standing. However, there is a twist; you do not regenerate health unless you eat golden apples or drink healing and regen potions. You can add many twists/restrictions to UHC to make the game more entertaining, easier, or challenging.
