This is something we've already implemented on Survival and SkyWars -- it should be coming to SkyBlock soon. 
 
However, we don't have /t for private messages, as that's used for Towny on Survival.

I'd like to take some time to address some recent issues we've seen on the SkyBlock server and how we'll be addressing them, as well as gather your feedback on changes we'd like to make.  Please keep in mind that PickAxis as a whole is still in alpha, and everything is subject to change at this point.
 
Some issues have cropped up regarding island protection, which was enabled yesterday.  Unfortunately, this meant having to remove and re-invite players to your party so that they could build on the island again.  Some players got stuck in parties or were unable to remove players from their party.  We're not aware of a fix for this at the moment.
 
We plan to implement a new custom SkyBlock plugin soon.  At this time, the new plugin does not have challenges or island levels.  We will, however, be able to keep your islands.  We'd like your feedback on whether or not we should make the switch to the new plugin immediately, or wait until these features have been added.  Please vote in the poll above (after carefully reading each question -- you can't change your vote later) and feel free to post a reply if you have any questions, concerns, or comments about these changes.

Chat command shortcuts were added to Creative and SkyBlock last night.  This includes the following:
/w and /m for /msg /g, /l, and /s for their respective chat channels /ls for the player list /colors for a list of color codes

Navigation compasses were added to the lobby recently.  Enjoy!

It's been a busy week here at PickAxis!
First and foremost, auctions are now enabled on SkyBlock and Survival! You can use /auc in-game to start an auction. We plan to implement limits on how often players can create auctions in the future, so that everyone gets a fair chance to auction their items, but there are no limitations for alpha.
In-game mail can now be sent to other players as well, allowing you to keep in touch with your friends, even when they're not online. To send mail to someone, use /mail send followed by their name and the message you want to send to them. You'll get a notification when you log in if you have new mail, which you can read with /mail read and then empty your inbox with /mail clear.
We'll be launching limited time challenges on SkyBlock soon, and we're interested in hearing your ideas for what the first one should be! Let us know in the comments below!
Finally, our awesome build team has been hard at work on some new maps for our next server. Keep an eye out for what it might be!

There is currently a 6000 block limit per edit, and certain blocks cannot be placed with WorldEdit. Additionally, not all WorldEdit features are enabled. If you come across a feature that you think should be added, please let us know!
We're looking forward to seeing some awesome builds!

The "M" is for "Middle Lane"....right?

For those of you who play League of Legends you know what Summoners Rift is. For those of you who don't it's basically the playing map for 5v5 matches. There are three main paths with towers for each team on each, in between the lanes is jungle with wolves and the like. I was thinking about how awesome it would be to make it in Minecraft! I found a few pictures of it already built in minecraft, but none of them to the caliber that I think we're capable of.
  I'll start building it hopefully sometime today, but because of school it may be longer than that.
If anyone is interested in helping, great! Let me know!

There should be a way to obtain all the other new flowers such as lilacs, tulips, roses, orchids, etc. Whether it is from challenges, or from the shop, idk, but we should be able to get them for our islands. Just my opinion.

Geeves came from a friend messing up spelling my childhood nickname ( Gv turned into Geeve) and to make herself look less stupid she added an S to the end and started making jokes about AskJeeves and the like. So that stuck around.
 
Pi day is the day before my birthday and I've always preferred pie to cake so that stuck around too. I use GeevesPie in a lot of places as my username so yeah
