Yet Another Random Husker Post

Hallo, it's me!

 

I should really start these out with "Dear Diary", but that's lame.  Here's an update on my thoughts:

 

Last time I posted that my main goal with PickAxis atm is growth.  Knowing this doesn't happen on its own, I am becoming more and more dedicated to action towards this goal.

 

Each night I plan to come home from work and spend 2 hours, uninterrupted, working on server stuff.  Then I will allow myself to socialize.  Don't be alarmed if I don't reply to your messages during that time.  I just want to be able to give as much of myself as I can each day.

 

What's the first order of business?  I want to tie up loose ends around the server like finishing spawns and build projects I've started.  This should hopefully be finished by the end of this coming weekend.  After that I am going to focus on making more YouTube videos and streaming.  I can't expect our Ambassadors to do something that I am not.

 

On the side there are a few other projects I would like to take on, but need to prioritize them yet:

• Tutorial Island on Skyblock
• Finish bigger player shop on Survival
• Find better, additional protection plugin for Survival
• Plan out leveling progression for the Skygrid server
• Plan out leveling progression for the Prison server
• Finish building the Prison server
• Make some maps for upcoming mini-games
• Work on the PickAxis wiki
• Build the new lobby
• etc., etc., etc.

If you would like to help with any of those topics, please let me know.  

 

As you can see, there is a lot to get done and since I don't want to allow failure (see last post), I am doing everything in my power to support the network.  

 

We're already treading into warm waters with our player count goals.  Summer is a fun time to get your friends on PickAxis.  The more people we have on, the more fun it is.

 

Anyway, I need to stop rambling.  If you have more things to add to the list or want to help minimize my list, let me know.
